The film is slated to start a fresh storyline, and it is uncertain if the existing cast would return.

The makers will try to keep it distinguished from the rest of the franchise. The plot details of the film are not revealed yet, but it would be intriguing to watch if they can execute the idea well, or it may easily turn into another generic monster film.
The film is based on a script by David Koepp, who wrote the first two Jurassic Park films. Earlier, Gareth Edwards was not the choice for the director. It was David Leitch. However, when Leitch left the project citing creative differences, Edwards was roped in. The latter admitted that this film is his current priority, and it made him “drop everything like a stone and dive right in.”
Now, it will be seen if Scarlett Johansson is in Jurassic World 4 and if it can garner a better critical reception than Jurassic World: Dominion. The film is set to be released on July 2, 2025.
