Indiana Fever sensation Caitlin Clark continues to shine in her rookie season, adding yet another accolade to her growing list of achievements. The WNBA announced on Tuesday that Clark has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the period of August 12-25. This recognition comes on top of her earlier honors as WNBA Rookie of the Month for both May and July.

Clark’s post-Olympic break performances have been nothing short of stellar. She ranks third among all WNBA players in scoring, averaging 25.9 points per game, while also contributing 9.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds.

Last week, she made history by becoming the Fever’s rookie leader in made 3-point field goals, with 81. She also surpassed Ticha Penicheiro’s rookie record of 224 assists, cementing her place as the WNBA’s all-time rookie leader in assists.

Clark is making history in the WNBA

Clark’s standout play places her alongside Indiana Fever legends Aliyah Boston and Tamika Catchings as one of only three players in franchise history to score at least 500 points in a rookie season.

In Indiana’s first game back from the break, Clark delivered an all-around performance with 29 points, 10 assists, and five rebounds against the Phoenix Mercury, securing her 10th double-double of the season. She followed that up with another strong showing against the Minnesota Lynx, tallying 23 points, eight assists, and five rebounds.

This marked her 11th game of the season with at least 20 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Over her last seven games, Clark has consistently hit at least 20 points and six assists.

Caitlin’s stats are impressive

Clark currently leads the league in assists, averaging 8.3 per game, and tops all rookies in scoring, steals, field goals made, free throws made, and minutes played. She joins teammate Aliyah Boston as the only Fever players to receive Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors this season.

With Clark’s continued excellence on the court, Indiana Fever fans have plenty to be excited about as their rookie star makes history and propels the team forward.

Like most others, Michael Jordan is attempting to make the most of his summer by taking a pleasant vacation. Online footage of the NBA legend traveling to Italy with his spouse, Yvette Prieto, has just surfaced.

In one video, Jordan and Prieto can be seen dancing at a table at what seems to be a nightclub. Like in his playing days, the six-time champion smokes a cigar on his night out. The pair eventually lose themselves in the intensity of the occasion and start dancing. Michael Jordan and his spouse traveled to Italy in elegance, as anticipated. The Chicago Bulls icon is currently on a superyacht.

Several memorable moments occurred during the evening, such as the amusing present from the nightclub: a tambourine with their faces from the same night’s picture. Prieto held the unique gift up for Jordan to see, and it caused grins and laughter.

Jordan also interacted with people on their Capri excursion, shaking hands, striking pictures at their table, and dancing with them. His approachable manner and eagerness to interact with people emphasized his genuine nature even more.
