The Trojans clearly think very highly of Elijah Paige as they have moved All-PAC 12 offensive lineman Jonah Moheim to center to accommodate him.
The Fighting Irish, meanwhile, will rue losing out on him, especially as their starting left tackle, Charles Jagusah, is injured. The program had hoped to have two true offensive tackles in the class but had its plans dashed once Paige de-committed.
The player was given a four-star rating by On3, 247Sports, and Rivals in high school. He finished as the highest-ranked player on Rivals, which listed him as the No. 171 player overall, the No. 15 offensive tackle, and the No. 3 player in Arizona.
The OT will undoubtedly be one to watch next season and could quickly become a fan favorite should he perform as expectations suggest.
