An unlucky Philadelphia Eagles fan suffered an unexpected injury during Philly’s win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, thanks to kicker Jake Elliott.
The Eagles barely got their beaks over the line as the Panthers, one of the worst teams in the NFL this season, had them nervous until the final seconds of the 22-16 win.
Elliott had a particularly bad game, missing a field goal and an extra point, though he was saved by a penalty flag for the extra point. A female fan claims to have been drilled in the face by the errant field goal attempt and needed medical attention.
Check her out in the video below:
Social Media Had Little Sympathy For The Eagles Fan After Her Jake Elliott Accident
Fans on social media refused to show sympathy. Some suggested that the unfortunate female should have been paying attention to the game, while others were a bit skeptical of her claims.
“If you can’t pay attention to the game and you care more about making Tik Tok videos, then stay home or sit in the upper deck,” someone wrote in the comments.
“Catch the football?” another wrote.
“Damn Jake is hitting everything BUT In between the pipes,” said a third.
“Maybe pay attention to the game instead of taking selfies,” someone advised.
“Damn she’s hot too,” said another.
“Her eye looks fine…..also this would have blown up before this video if it actually happened,” a fan asserted.
As for Elliott, the kicker has struggled from attempts past 40 yards all season, and there’s now a debate over whether Philadelphia can keep depending on him heading into the playoffs.
Our guess is they will.

Angel Reese recently discussed the abuse she’s had to endure amid her WNBA rookie season, thanks to fans of Caitlin Clark.
The first-year stars are locked in a rivalry at the moment, whether they want to be or not. They have both said on multiple occasions that there’s zero animosity between them, yet Reese claims she has been dealing with a lot because Clark’s fans refuse to leave her alone.
The Chicago Sky forward made it clear that the former Iowa star has nothing to do with the racism and abuse she has been facing, but fans have been taking things way too far in showing support for the Indiana Fever guard.
“Caitlin is an amazing player and I’ve always thought she was an amazing player. We’ve been playing each other since high school,” Reese said during the first episode of her new podcast ‘Unapologetically Angel.’
“So I think it’s really just the fans — her fans, the Iowa fans, now the Indiana fans — that are, like, they ride for her and I respect that, respectfully, but sometimes it’s very disrespectful. I think there’s a lot of racism when it comes to it and I don’t believe she stands on any of that.”

Angel Reese Dealing With Death Threats And Fake AI Content
Reese also revealed having experienced death threats, as well as people creating nude AI photos of her and sending them to her family.
“But when it comes to death threats, like, I’m talking about people have come down to my address, following me home, it’s come down to that,” she added. “Multiple occasions, people have made AI pictures of me naked, literally. They have sent it to my family members.
“My family members are, like, uncles are sending it to me, like, ‘Are you naked on Instagram?’ It sucks to see that, and it’s really hard that I have to go through that, and now seeing other players even having to go through that.”
The former college rivals are now fighting for the Rookie of the Year Award. But only one of them has clinched a playoff berth so far, with the Fever locking their spot in for the first time since 2016.
VIDEOS: Everyone Is Calling For Major Suspension Of Chiefs Player In Street Clothes Who Pulled A “Big Dom” During Ugly Sideline Moment With Ravens’ Roquan Smith

A forgotten moment in an eventful NFL season opener between the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs occurred early in the fourth quarter when Patrick Mahomes was running to the sidelines and was hit by Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith.
As Mahomes ran out of bounds on third-and-3, which resulted in a first down, the Ravens linebacker contacted him, and he went down to the ground. However, no penalty was thrown.
Footage from the play showed somebody not in uniform taking took exception to the contact and shoved Roquan Smith from behind, leading to a small skirmish.
Something similar happened last year when Big Dom from the Eagles found himself suspended after the Week 13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, where DiSandro found himself in the spotlight for his quick physical altercation with Niners linebacker Dre Greenlaw on the Philly sideline.
Fans quickly took to the comments and demanded the unknown member to be suspended.
It turns out that person on the sideline was tight end Peyton Hendershot.
It remains to be seen if the league will step in and do anything to him.
Roquan Smith Sends Stern Message To Chiefs Player That Pushed Him On Sideline
Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith took exception to him being pushed and had a warning postgame for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Peyton Hendershot.
During the Ravens’ loss to the Chiefs to kick off the new NFL season, there was a moment where Kansas City’s star quarterback Patrick Mahomes was scrambling to pick up a first down and headed toward the sideline.
Roquan Smith pushed Mahomes late, and the quarterback went down to the ground.
Smith, who was waving his hands, said Mahomes tried to sell it as a penalty.
“Oh, he flopped. Yeah, he flopped,” Smith told reporters postgame, per Fox News. “That’s why the referees didn’t call it – it was a great no-call by the ref.”
As he was waving his hands, Hendershot, who was in street clothes as an inactive player, got in Roquan Smith’s face and pushed him.
