Caitlin Clarke’s Old Taunt during game.
University of Iowa star guard Caitlin Clark got a dose of her own medicine following the aforementioned program’s loss to LSU at the NCAA women’s basketball championship game on Sunday.

The game was one from which several talking points stemmed, including the moment LSU’s Angel Reese decided to hit Clarke with the “You can’t see me” gesture made famous by WWE superstar John Cena.

The taunt has since gone viral on social media, prompting various reactions. But it’s also seen to the resurfacing of an old clip of Caitlin doing the same thing during Iowa’s defeat of Louisville in the Elite Eight late last month.

“Lot of people BIG mad on Angel Reese hitting Caitlin Clark with the “can’t see me” move,” ESPN’s Peter Burns pointed out in reference to the video shown below. “Didn’t see that same energy when Clark did it vs Louisville.”

Reese had herself a game, scoring 15 points along with 10 rebounds to mark her 34th double-double of the season and help the Tigers win their first-ever national championship. Clark scored 30 points, while her tally throughout the tournament is the most in NCAA women’s history, but it was not enough to avoid defeat.

The Iowa star insists she never saw the gesture claiming she was focused on shaking hands with everyone else.

Caitlin Clark has already become known for keeping great composure in stressful or weird situations. However, even Clark couldn’t keep her cool when this reporter asked this almost incoherent question.

After giving the Razzmatazz to those Windy City skyscrapers Friday night, what was the biggest wingding game you expected to find today in the shindig against these dynamos from Big D?” asked the reporter.

Clark immediately looked around the room, completely confused, and didn’t even say a word. She was left speechless by the question. She never even attempted to answer the question, and rather, the press conference just moved on to the next question.

People online found the question just as comical.

“They need to stop asking my goat these terrible questions,” one comment said.
