Much like AOC and Jamaal Bowman lost it when he was defeated in a primary race in his New York Congressional district, far-left “Squad” Democrat Cori Bush went absolutely berserk in the wake of her electoral defeat in Missouri’s 1st Congressional District to local prosecutor Wesley Bell, with her comments about Israel leading to much funding against her and apparently being a major factor in her defeat.
Rep. Bush’s freakout came in a speech she gave after her defeat, with clips of the wild speech being shared with the public on X (formerly Twitter) by Mark Maxwell, the political editor at St. Louis NBC News affiliate KSDK. In the clips he shared, Bush was melting down, shouting about “her position” being pulled away from her.
She said, beginning the clips that Maxwell posted, “Pulling me away from my position as Congresswoman, all you did was take some of the strings off.” Continuing, she then shouted several times, “Let’s be clear!” Continuing with her melt down, she exclaimed, “Let’s talk about what it really is.”
She insisted that she does not have to worry overly much about the “strings” she has lost with her job, and that losing it has radicalized her further. She said, “Because see now I don’t have to worry about some strings that I have attached that as much as I love my job but all they did was radicalize me, so now they need to be afraid.”
Rep. Bush then insisted that she will somehow get even more radical from here and they will see her “other side,” exclaiming, “See, now they about to see this other Cori, this other side, because let me say this: I just grew up a whole lot more over the last few weeks, I just grew up a whole different way, and so what they are about to get.” She further exclaimed, “AIPAC, I’m coming to tear your kingdom down.”

Continuing from there, she went on to pledge to go after “corporations,” saying that she is will attack them, though not explaining how or why. She exclaimed, “And let me put all of these corporations on notice: I’m coming after you too. But I’m not coming by myself. I’m coming with all the people that’s in here, that’s doing the work.”
Returning to the point that she has apparently been further “radicalized” by the experience of losing the primary, shouting that she is more radical now and not in fear. She said, “What you didn’t want to do was allow me to get radicalized even more, because this is the thing: I ain’t scared. I don’t fear you! I don’t fear you!”

She also attacked her replacement, Wesley Bell, and hinted at the sexual discrimination suit against his office, saying, “The new member of Congress who will be taking over in January, you know, right before his trial starts.” Stopping, she said, “I’m sorry,” and, continuing, said, “We need to build the community back, because what just happened helped to rip our community apart.”
