The recent Olympic games in Paris have brought up many conversations about controversies. One of the top controversies concerns boxer Imane Khelif and male athletes participating in female sports, and Kirk Herbstreit has made his opinions on the matter known.
The sports broadcaster, best known for his appearances and writing on College Gameday, ABC’s College Football, and Saturday Night Football made a strong point in his stance on the controversial top.
In an interview with Dan Dakich on Outkick’s Don’t @ Me, the football broadcaster doubled down on a previous statement that men have no place in women’s sports. This is very controversial for many reasons.

Kirk Herbstreit Says Males Do Not Belong In Female Sports
While the College Gameday host may receive backlash for his comments but apparently, he doesn’t have a care in the world, stating, “I didn’t give a sh*t. I don’t give a sh*t at all. I’m done giving any sh*ts at all about any of it.”
According to Herbstreit, many people seem to be turning a blind eye to the issue plaguing the world of sports right now, stating “I’m a Christian guy; it’s like there’s a different set of rules for that viewpoint, and it’s hard to just turn the other cheek time after time after time.”

It should be noted that this stance comes days after calling the question stupid when asked if men belong in women’s sports. “Of course not! ridiculous question,” Herbstreit said, and it wasn’t to deaf ears.
While there is no question that biological males shouldn’t be allowed to participate in women’s sports due to the natural athletic differences, with the Imane Khelif situation, things just got way more complicated when asking the question.
