Kennedy Carter has hit out at Caitlin Clark’s boyfriends and other people who have urged the Indiana Fever to sign an enforcer for the former Iowa star.

Indiana snatched their second win of the season, triumphing via a 71-70 result at the end of a very entertaining contest.

Meanwhile, Carter has been trending since Saturday, following the body check she hit the Fever rookie with during their matchup. The Sky shooting guard isn’t ready to take back anything and has even called Caitlin out for only being good at shooting three-pointers.

Having watched her call Clark a “B-” before decking her, several fans called on Indiana to get an enforcer for their golden goose.

Even Draymond Green joined in.

“Indiana better go invest in an enforcer… FAST!” he posted on social media.

Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffrey, liked several tweets echoing the same.

“Fever need to sign the WNBA version of James Johnson,” one reads.

“Idk who the James Johnson of the WNBA is but whoever it is the Fever need to get them asap,” reads another.

Chennedy Carter Trashes The “Enforcer” Calls

Chennedy Carter has suggested that Caitlin Clark is old enough to take care of herself on the court, telling her detractors to stop being so soft.

“we grown asf & y’all talking about enforcer 😂 man gtfoh , hoop or shut up ….” she tweeted.

Carter refused to discuss Clark after the game, flatly telling reporters she wouldn’t answer any questions about the rookie.

She won’t have to wait too long before they play again, however, as the Sky and Fever are set for their next showdown on June 16, with another to follow on June 23.

Caitlin Clark was a noticeable absentee at a recent team outing following a tough three-game stretch.

The Indiana Fever had a day off on Monday. Several players enjoyed some rest and relaxation out on a lake, with some pictured on a boat celebrating point guard Grace Berger’s birthday.

The Fever, now 2-9, played three games in four days and earned themselves a break. However, Clark was nowhere to be seen after her worst outing since going pro.

The rookie shot 1-of-10 in a blowout loss to the New York Liberty, scoring just three points and making as many turnovers.

The team put the loss behind them, spending time having some fun ahead of Friday’s clash with the Washington Mystics, the only team they’ve actually been playing better than so far this season.

Aliyah Boston took to Instagram to share a photo of the team on a boat.

Where Was Caitlin Clark?

As pointed out above, Caitlin Clark was not around. While the reason is unknown, her absence did not go unnoticed.

“CC probably sitting in a massage chair watching film,” one fan suggested.

“Don’t see Clark bonding with them though!! Although she’s probably sleeping!!” said another. “Physicality of the WNBA taking its toll.”

“Cc no where to be found,” another comment read. “This is why they never defend her on the court. She doesn’t even try to bond with her teammates.”

“Clark too bougie to join them… what a joke,” a user remarked.

As you can see, Clark wasn’t the only member of the Fever roster who wasn’t on the boat. Plus, who’s to say she didn’t meet up with them later in the day?
