Caitlin Clark Will Have One Thing in NASCAR That Billionaire Owner Michael Jordan Never Did, Courtesy of $3 Billion Worth Co.

Ever since Caitlin Clark gained popularity after the NCAA 2022-23 Championship Finale, Clark has achieved one feat after another. There’s no doubt that she is a generational talent most importantly since she surpassed NCAA legend Pete Maravich in all-time leading scorers. And now Clark is turning all heads by accomplishing something that even NBA legend Michael Jordan couldn’t do despite being one of the most important players to grace the way.

Clark will be featured on Josh Berry’s car’s hood during the Brickyard 400 event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday. This got the Outkick’s journalist Jonathan Hutton to shed light on the whole event. “Josh Berry in the Ford number four… with Caitlin Clark on the hood. Why? Well, his main sponsor is promoting her trading card and with it being in Indy and of course the, the tie in there, it’s a no-brainer uh, that you put Caitlin Clark on the car if you’re promoting the trading cards,” Jonathan Hutton stated, via Outkick.

Berry along with the No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing team will have a special picture of Clark on the hood and also pay tribute to the NCAA Queen with their paint scheme on the Ford Mustang. Clark can be spotted in her Iowa jersey going for a three-pointer. It has “raining 3” written on the deck. The picture of the same was posted on X by Panini America since the 3 billion company had launched the Caitlin Clark card collection earlier in July. Hence, Berry is paying tribute to Clark since the event is scheduled to take place in Indianapolis and Clark currently plies her trade for the Indiana Fever.

“I’m not sure oh, I’m, I’m sure, someone I…I can’t think did Michael Jordan ever put his face on his car that he owns in… in NASCAR?,” Chad Withrow asked next. “I’m trying to think of all the missed opportunity, all the options they would have over the years. Has a face ever been on a NASCAR?” Withrow added.

For the unversed, Jordan has been the owner of 23XI Racing since 2021 along with Joe Gibbs and Denny Hamlin. The team represents Jordan’s 23 jersey number which he wore during his NBA career. The racing team also features Hamlin’s 11-number. But despite being the owner, billionaire Jordan never put his face on any of the cars, which also makes it a “missed opportunity,” as per Withrow. Meanwhile, Clark’s Panini cards were launched recently.

Caitlin Clark gets her own Panini cards

Clark got her Panini Cards launched in July. To commemorate her achievements, the company featured some of the major highlights from Clark’s exceptional night when she set the all-time women’s and men’s leading scorer record. It has 6 packs with 4 cards in each. To delight fans, autographed cards were randomly inserted into the packs. The cards are priced at $34.95 and are being sold on Panini’s website.

The company worked directly with Clark to have a 15-card set that sheds light on her career. Perhaps, this is what Clark’s fans needed to immortalize the record in their memory.

Now that Berry is honoring Clark with a picture of the NCAA star on his car, hopefully, more sponsors will come forward to utilize this marketing trick and get the attention of balling fans. As for Clark, she can be sure that her fans tune in to watch Berry’s race.
