The WNBA made headlines this past season after Caitlyn Clark brought the league up to the top with four other major sports leagues. However, the club hosts many more all-stars, and Kia Nurse is one of the top players on the list; on the other hand, Skylar Diggins-Smith isn’t usually in the conversation.
Due to the heavier media attention, the league needs more marketing as it grows. The better the marketing, the more fans they’ll attract, and they will know what they are doing.
One X user posted one of the league’s better marketing moments as Kia Nurse was “Mic’d up” for a game between the Seattle Storm and the Los Angeles Sparks. The moment caught on during the game was insane.
WNBA fans went crazy after Nurse and Storm guard Skylar Diggins-Smith chatted about their respective ages. Diggins-Smith made a comment way out of left field, stating, “My p*ssy old.”
Skylar Diggins-Smith Claims She Is Old In The Most Insane Way
One potential fan pointed out that they didn’t know the players were this entertaining, commenting, “Who’s watching next season?” insinuating that the Diggins-Smith and Nurse aided the league in gaining one more viewer in 2024.
One fan pointed to the original post, saying that the league needs to have them all “Mic’d up” after the moment went viral. Another fan seconded this comment, commenting, “Ong would make me watch.”
After the massive viewership growth the league ultimately saw, it begs the question of how much further it can go. Only time will tell how long the league can last, and who knows, maybe Diggins-Smith can help the league.

The father of Travis Kelce is piping hot mad. He took to Facebook to post a Daily Mail article spotlighting a lyric on Kanye West’s long-awaited Vultures 2 album with Ty Dolla $ign that mentions Taylor Swift.
Kanye featured a lyrical reference to Taylor Swift’s romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce,” Lil Wayne raps on the track “Lifestyle (Demo).”
“Mental illness on full display,” Ed wrote in response.
Honestly, those lyrics are quite tame to what we have heard in the past.
