The internet loves a good feel-good story, even brash sports fans. And a college student who became popular for his habit of wearing random team jerseys—so much so that he became known as “Jersey Guy”—was the subject of an incredible one this week.

Jersey Guy is going to have plenty of options to choose from in 2025 after Fanatics surprised him with a year’s worth of free gear as a result of his dedication to sports threads.

When he pulled up to class on Thursday, several jerseys and a cool note from Fanatics were waiting for him.

Everyone was begging Travis Hunter to dump his girlfriend after she revealed having initially ignored him at first because he wasn’t her type.

The Colorado star is in a serious relationship with Leanna Lenee, who went viral after she appeared to be pissed at him after his Senior Day win over Oklahoma State. They recently went on stream together, and Travis would reveal shooting his shot via Instagram.

Leanna revealed that the player didn’t tickle her fancy as he wasn’t her type, so she left him with the crickets. Of course, he got through eventually.

She also admitted that she has the proclivity to blow up when things don’t go her way.
