Houston Texans star pass rusher Danielle Hunter has social media in shock after revealing the type of car he drives.

Most rich and famous people treat themselves to luxurious vehicles to show off their fortunes. But Danielle Hunter, who’s entering his first season with the Texans, is more than happy to drive a casual vehicle.

Hunter was asked a series of questions during an interview at a recent Texans practice, including the first car he drove (a Dodge Challenger). In a follow-up question, Hunter revealed that he currently drives a Nissan:

As you would guess, social media had all sorts of hilarious things to say after Hunter revealed his status as a proud Nissan owner:

According to Spotrac.com, Danielle Hunter has made just over $94.864 million alone in career earnings and that does not include endorsements. The four-time Pro Bowler signed a two-year deal with Houston worth $49 million in free agency.

Hunter, who turns 30 in October, played for the Minnesota Vikings from 2015 to 2023 before signing with Houston in free agency. Fittingly, the Vikings replaced the new Houston star by signing former Texan Jonathan Greenard to a four-year deal worth $76 million.

Danielle Hunter will make his Texans debut on Sept. 8, when the team travels to Indianapolis for an AFC South showdown against the Colts.

Danielle Hunter May Be The Final Piece To Get Texans Over The Top

The Texans were the biggest surprise of 2023, finishing 10-7 and claiming the AFC South crown. GM Nick Caserio wasted no time improving his roster, adding Hunter, All-Pro wideout Stefon Diggs and star running back Joe Mixon to complement the young stars.

Hunter should form a top-tier pass-rushing duo with 2023 Defensive Rookie of the Year Will Anderson Jr., who tallied seven sacks in his first NFL season. If Hunter, Diggs and Mixon play up to their usual standards, the Texans will emerge as a legitimate Super Bowl contender in the crowded AFC.

Sha’Carri Richardson made sure to remind people that she is still that girl with her performance in the women’s 4×100-meter relay.

Team USA’s women’s relay team will compete in the 4×100-meter final all because Richardson showed why she was made for the big stage.

Sha’Carri Richardson bailed the women out from a near collapse on Thursday in the Olympic 4×100 relay. She overcame a German runner in the anchor leg to help the Americans win their heat and advance to the gold-medal race.

Amid that run, Richardson could be seen staring at Rebekka Haase as she quickly passed her up on the track.
