Kevin Durant, the standout player for the Phoenix Suns, amazed everyone with his stellar skills at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players in NBA history, the 35-year-old delivered back-to-back dominating performances for Team USA at the international competition. Despite being one of the most talented basketball players, Durant, who was recently criticized by Dennis Schroder, also excels at confronting trolls and fans on social media.

During a recent appearance at the Fanatic Fest, the 14-time NBA All-Star gave a brutally honest opinion on why he responds to his haters on social media.

“Depending on how I feel, I’m gonna interact, and if you troll, I will troll back. If you show love, I will show love back. I try to reciprocate energy as much as possible to give people more of an in-depth experience of who I am.” Durant said to Jalen Rose at Fanatic Fest.

Durant said he always tries to return the favor when fans or trolls do anything nice or cruel; he always claps back.

Durant consistently delivered dominating performances for the Phoenix Suns in the 2023-24 NBA season, leading the team to the playoffs. However, despite the two-time NBA Champion’s efforts, the Suns lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first-round series of the NBA playoffs. During the same event, Durant, who has won four gold medals at the Olympics, was asked several questions about his professional career.

Rose asked Durant about his strategy with the Suns for the upcoming NBA season. Amidst the conversation, a fan shouted, “Nothing,” leading to laughter from the crowd. However, Durant was curious about the person who made the remark.

Jalen Rose: “What can we expect from you [Kevin Durant] and the Phoenix Suns this year?”

Someone from the crowd: “Nothing.”

Durant averaged 27.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in 75 games during the 2023-24 season, according to StatMuse. He was selected to play in his fourteenth All-Star game. It will be fascinating to witness the performance of the 35-year-old star player in the upcoming season.

Norwegian pole vaulter Embla Matilde Njerve has been trending online during the current Olympic Games, but fans will likely be embarrassed after finding something out.

Pole vaulters have been a popular show at these games, and not just for their pole vaulting prowess. One athlete went viral after his shaft prevented him from qualifying by latching onto the bar, while another did the rounds because she celebrated by twerking.

Pole vaulting is done at the Olympics, with Mondo Duplantis of Sweden winning the men’s competition and Australian Nina Kennedy winning the women’s. Still, Njerve is the one who’s been attracting most of the attention on social media.

There’s one problem, however. The Norway international was never at the Olympics.
