The trade rumors are getting interesting regarding Jimmy Butler. With the trade window approaching soon, there are strong rumors that the Miami Heat star will probably be traded. Adding fuel to the fire was renowned NBA Insider, Shams Charania. He broke the news about Bernie Lee suggesting a new home for the Heat’s star. He also pinpointed the Golden State, Houston, or Dallas as the possible destinations.
Meanwhile, Charania too, responded by claiming that his reports were “1000%” accurate. And while the drama is still not over, there is yet another reporter predicting Jimmy Butler’s future in the NBA.
Brian Windhorst Predicts Jimmy Butler Will Stay With Miami Heat
After the news from Shams Charania broke on the internet, the rumors kept coming in about Jimmy Butler. In a recent addition, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst stated that Butler might not be keen to leave the Heat. Instead, he would look to secure a contract extension and try to play out his remaining NBA years at Miami.
“I think Jimmy Butler’s preference would be to sign an extension in Miami… He hoped to do that last summer, but Pat Rileycame out at the end of the last season and said that’s not what the Heat were doing,” stated Windhorst on First Take recently. Thus, with speculations on the rise, it will be interesting to see what the future of Jimmy Butler will ultimately be in the NBA.
