Haliey Welch, the “Hawk Tuah” Girl, met her celebrity crush this week.

Welch is somewhat of a celebrity herself following her viral phrase and might still be in shock over how much life has changed for her. But, as much as she’s moved on up, she’s still a regular girl who will never stop loving some guy who goes by the name “Pookie.”

Regular girls typically have celebrity crushes, and Haliey is no different. She was lucky enough to meet him – although it was on Facetime – after revealing who he is during an appearance on ‘Good For You’ with Whitney Cummings this week.

Who Is Haliey Welch’s Celebrity Crush

It turns out that the “Hawk Tuah” Girl is a big fan of comedian and actor Matt Rife, whom she got to chat with during the show.

Rife invited her to hang out next month.

“I’m in Nashville August 24th doing Bridgestone Arena, do you want to come out?” he asked.

She said yes, of course.

“Do you want front row, or do you wanna be off to the side like backstage? What do you prefer?” he inquired.

“Put me back there with you, my boy,” she replied with a smirk.

Given her desire to get into comedy, we just might see some form of collaboration between the two. We wouldn’t bet against it.

It doesn’t appear that her 15 minutes will end before summer leaves, if ever. Plus, it’s believed that there’s a whole lot of stuff in the works that should keep Haliey Welch front and center in the coming months.

Dallas Cowboys Set The NFL On Fireworks By Dealing QB Dak Prescott To Longtime AFC Rival In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

The Dallas Cowboys kick off their 2024 NFL campaign in 15 days, and Jerry Jones still hasn’t extended quarterback Dak Prescott or wide receiver CeeDee Lamb as they head into their contract years.

Dak Prescott has one year remaining on the four-year, $160 million extension he signed with Dallas in the 2021 offseason, while the 25-year-old CeeDee Lamb is entering the fifth and final year of his rookie deal.

Some fans have started to wonder if Jones would be open to trading Prescott and Lamb. Of course, his preference is to keep both of them, but what if the Cowboys owner received an offer for his star quarterback that he can’t refuse?

The scenario seems crazy at first, but it’s not. What if Jones traded Prescott, punted on 2024 and set himself up to tank and draft a new franchise quarterback in Georgia’s Carson Beck, Texas’ Quinn Ewers or Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders next year?

One team that makes perfect sense for Dak Prescott is the Pittsburgh Steelers, who haven’t had an above-average quarterback play since Ben Roethlisberger’s last healthy season way-back-when in 2018.
