Haliey Welch found out where her bloodline originated from on a recent podcast appearance and seemed thrilled.
The Nashville, Tennessee, native was a guest on comedian Howie Mandel’s podcast late last week and discovered she’s 97.7 percent Ashkenazi Jewish.
All Haliey had to do was “Hawk Tuah” into a test kit and would find out exactly what she is.
“You’re 97% Jewish? You’re in a room full of Jews, welcome to Hollywood,” one of the hosts joked.
“Yes, I tried Katz Deli when I was in New York – it was really good. I’m on top of the world!” Welch replied.
Everyone Wants A Piece of Haliey Welch
Haliey Welch has been living a dizzying existence since she coined the aforementioned term in June. The 21-year-old internet sensation has managed to make lots of cash from two words and has been appearing all over the place.
She’s been a guest on multiple podcasts since and getting paid thousands of dollars to make appearances.
Meanwhile, the people who conducted the interview that made her a household name are still looking for their 15 minutes of fame and admitted they felt slighted in an interview with the New York Times last month.
“At the end of the day, nobody would know who she was if we didn’t bring it to light and post it,” DeArius Marlow of Tim & Dee TV told the outlet. “A lot of the audience who hadn’t seen us before think we grew off this one clip. People were treating it like we’re nobodies and didn’t already have a platform.”
They’re still hoping for a collaboration in the future, but Haliey doesn’t seem interested, given how busy she’s been over the last two months.

The father of Travis Kelce is piping hot mad. He took to Facebook to post a Daily Mail article spotlighting a lyric on Kanye West’s long-awaited Vultures 2 album with Ty Dolla $ign that mentions Taylor Swift.
Kanye featured a lyrical reference to Taylor Swift’s romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce,” Lil Wayne raps on the track “Lifestyle (Demo).”
“Mental illness on full display,” Ed wrote in response.
Honestly, those lyrics are quite tame to what we have heard in the past.
