Caitlin Clark was on a mission against the Phoenix Mercury on Friday night. The Indiana Fever played its first game of the second half of the 2024 WNBA season, and Clark stole the spotlight against the star-studded Mercury.
After the 98-89 win for Indiana, a short video emerged, which showed Clark ignoring WNBA legend Diana Taurasi’s trash talk. The very next moment, however, she was seen responding with an apparent NSFW line.
“I don’t give a f**k,” Clark seemingly said to Copper.

k seems to be finding her place in the league following a tumultuous start to her WNBA career. She has come into her own in recent games; Clark shot for 50% from the field and 36.4% from deep against the Mercury, dropping 29 points and adding five rebounds and 10 assists.
Kevin Garnett notes potential advantage for Caitlin Clark in second half of the season
Caitlin Clark turned a lot of heads with her sterling performance. One of the people impressed was NBA legend Kevin Garnett, who took to X (formerly Twitter) to warn the rest of the league about a rejuvenated Caitlin Clark.
“What if @CaitlinClark22’s Olympic break was the off season adjustment for the league that @wnba rookies don’t get before their 1st season… shyt looked crazy out there yesterday… 💯 Can tell she was in the film room…” Garnett wrote.
Clark looked more comfortable with her game on Friday, protecting the ball and shooting better from the floor. She can still improve her 3-point percentage (32.9% on 8.4 3-point attempts per game) and if she does so, Clark will be even more dangerous.
