Since retirement, one of the biggest priorities of Tom Brady’s life has been spending time with his children. Given that managing quality time was already tough for him when he used to play in the NFL, things became even tougher when he separated from his former wife, Gisele Bundchen, resulting in their infamous public divorce in 2022.

Though he explored his other endeavors post-retirement, he didn’t comprise his family time and bonded with his children on a deeper note. While talking about fatherhood recently, the former NFL player revealed how he has become “busier than ever” while juggling his new career in broadcasting and fatherhood.

I got a lot of things that keep me busy, but still trying to be a great dad and be there for my kids. And all the parents out there know that it’s a challenge to be a good parent. Talking about his three children, Brady joking revealed that whenever they call him, he knows that they want something from him. Subsequently, when he “doesn’t hear” from them, he knows that they don’t want anything. On a serious note, the seven-time Super Bowl champion also shared that his children have now begun to understand the reasons behind his certain sacrifices, as they are getting older.

They begin to appreciate... as they get older and start to have the responsibilities of an adult. When you’re working hard to be a dad and also provide for the family that does come with being away a bit and being really focused on my job.
