Wanda Durant considered taking her own life when she was left alone with two children and Sonya Curry considered not going through with her pregnancy
The United States won gold at the Olympics with Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry, two of the greatest players of all time, in the spotlight.
Wanda, the Durant mother, confessed that she thought about taking her own life when little Kevin came into the world.
He was her second child when she wanted a girl, and she also ended up alone with both of them after the father abandoned them. “I was emotional and scared. Our marriage was a little shaky and I didn’t know what to expect,” admits the 57-year-old.
“I did not have a plan,” Wanda said. “I just knew that I had these 2 little people that I was responsible for. God, I don’t wanna cry. But to be quite honest with you, my sons were my saving grace. They saved my life.
“And so people say, well, what did you sacrifice? And to be quite honest, I sacrificed my suicide,” Wanda added.
“It still hurts to this day that I was in a place because I didn’t see a future for me, that I didn’t want to be here anymore. But I knew I had to stay for my children and so that’s what I decided to do. And I didn’t have a plan, I just knew I had to stay.”
Sonya Curry listened to God
After Wanda was so candid, Sonya Curry also opened up about her feelings when, at the age of 22, she was pregnant with the Warriors‘ brilliant point guard.

“In my situation, I had chosen, at 19, to have an abortion,” Sonya said. “And then conceiving Stephen two years later and sitting in a parking lot, going to have an abortion and not have him. And in that moment, God saying to me, ‘You’re not doing it.'”
Wanda encouraged all women who have a hard time not having a clear future in the face of motherhood. “I will simply tell them not to give up. I wanted to give up, but I knew there would be no one on this Earth who would take care of my children the way I did,” she said.

The father of Travis Kelce is piping hot mad. He took to Facebook to post a Daily Mail article spotlighting a lyric on Kanye West’s long-awaited Vultures 2 album with Ty Dolla $ign that mentions Taylor Swift.
Kanye featured a lyrical reference to Taylor Swift’s romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce,” Lil Wayne raps on the track “Lifestyle (Demo).”
“Mental illness on full display,” Ed wrote in response.
Honestly, those lyrics are quite tame to what we have heard in the past.
