Most notably, Kelce has grown out his hair over the summer.

The NFL star was previously known for having a meticulous high-fade haircut, which led to barbers being inundated with requests for ‘The Travis Kelce.’

And the sole reason he has been sporting longer hair is Swift, according to teammate Patrick Mahomes.

“You got the old man (Kelce),” Mahomes told SiriusXM NFL Radio.

“I’ve been trying to get him to grow his hair out and all of a sudden, Taylor gets him to do it.”

It has marked a huge change for Kelce, whose simple but iconic buzzcut was made famous by his barber, Patrick ‘Patty Cuts’ Regan.

The Florida-based hairdresser told Good Morning America the haircut is a three-blade shave on top and a bald shave on the sides.

“I think it just goes to show how big of an icon that he is that a simple haircut can be named like the Travis Kelce haircut,” he said.

“It’s pretty cool.”

Swift’s influence on Kelce can be seen not only in his ‘hella good hair’ but also in the time, money, and effort he has put into his wardrobe in recent months.

A quick comparison of Kelce’s outfits before and after dating Swift shows the evolution of his fashion sense.

New items in Kelce’s wardrobe include designer cardigans, for example.

Swift has a penchant for the sweaters and even penned the song Cardigan for her Folklore album.

He is also wearing far fewer jeans than in years past.

With the eyes of the world on him, Kelce has emerged as an unexpected trendsetter thanks to his bold game-day looks.

Kelce has shown off his swagger with ready-to-wear pieces from design houses like Jil Sander, Marni, Amiri, Vetements, and Christian Dior.

He has also worked with designers such as Sasha Elina, Anastasia Walker, and Danielle Salzedo.

However, in an interview with WSJ Magazine, Kelce admitted to spending at least three hours picking out an outfit for game days.

“I kind of just do it off of instinct,” Kelce said.

“It really just goes down to the wire.

“I kind of enjoy the creative process of the panic to just throw something together.”

Kelce said his interest in fashion was first sparked as a child in the Cleveland suburbs.

“Playing a sport growing up, like I always wanted to wear a headband, I always wanted to have a certain pair of shoes,” he explained.

He takes criticism of his fits with a pinch of salt.

“Obviously, not every look is for everybody,” Kelce said.

“I’m not going to be offended if somebody says I look like a clown if I got a fun hat on and some wacky jeans.

“It is what it is, I’m gonna have fun with it.”

He added: “For the most part, I do it to put a smile on somebody’s face.”

Kelce is now looking to capitalize on his newfound fame – and interest in his fits – with his luxury fashion line.

When Kelce launched the Tru Kolors brand in 2019, it was well-received but drew little mainstream attention.

Since he started dating Swift, the company has been given a new lease of life.

Kelce has even secured a joint capsule collaboration with the Chiefs.

“I just want everybody to feel comfortable in who they are,” he added.

“…and showing their true colors and then appreciating everybody’s colors along the way.”

Kelce is hands-on at Tru Kolors – he examines fabric samples, color swatches, and even the stitching.

“The details matter,” Kelce said.

“I have a lot of fun creating, especially with the different types of fabrics you can have, different types of looks.”
