Stephen A. Smith has lashed out at Jimmy Garoppolo for his comments on former San Francisco 49ers teammate Trey Lance’s trade to the Dallas Cowboys.

Garoppolo, now with the Las Vegas Raiders, offered his take on the trade in a recent interview and criticized the Niners over their dealings, referring to them as “weird.”

Speaking on ‘First Take’ this Wednesday, Smith got a little personal as he suggested that Jimmy G spends less time playing than he does being injured.  “My perspective is Jimmy Garoppolo needs to shut up. Just shut up and play. Okay?” Smith said. “Nobody wants to hear from you.”

He also recalled the quarterback being photographed with adult film star Kiara Mia back in 2020, claiming the Raiders signal-caller is either in the infirmary or hanging out with women of similar persuasions.

“It’s rare that he plays,” Smith continued. “He spends more time in an infirmary than on a football field, some would argue. If he ain’t doing that, he’s with porn stars on Melrose Place in California.”

‘First Take’ host Molly Qerim pointed out that it was just one time. But Stephen A. countered with claims that he has more information on Jimmy’s extracurricular activities.

“That you know of,” he snapped. “I happen to know a little bit more than that. That’s why I call him P Star Jimmy.”

Not sure why Smith went that far over Jimmy talking trades, but that’s the sort of thing you get with the ESPN personality.

Sha’Carri Richardson made sure to remind people that she is still that girl with her performance in the women’s 4×100-meter relay.

Team USA’s women’s relay team will compete in the 4×100-meter final all because Richardson showed why she was made for the big stage.

Sha’Carri Richardson bailed the women out from a near collapse on Thursday in the Olympic 4×100 relay. She overcame a German runner in the anchor leg to help the Americans win their heat and advance to the gold-medal race.

Amid that run, Richardson could be seen staring at Rebekka Haase as she quickly passed her up on the track.
