Every year, we get reminders sent out for people in the USA to be careful when handling fireworks for the Fourth of July celebrations.

Unfortunately, a ton of people always end up getting hurt, whether it’s minor or downright catastrophic.

Such was the case for multiple people who found themselves injured during a scary situation when a set of fireworks malfunctioned during the Stadium of Fire performance in a Provo Fourth of July festival on Thursday.

At least six people had to be taken to a hospital after pyrotechnics struck onlookers at the Stadium of Fire event at LaVell Edwards Stadium, according to ABC4.

Multiple videos with multiple angles show the fireworks going into the crowd at different times when they were supposed to shoot into the air.

One person reportedly who was seriously injured was hit in the face.
