Star gymnast Simone Biles set fans off online after pulling up to Saturday’s preseason game between her husband Jonathan Owens’ Chicago Bears and the Cincinnati Bengals wearing something very surprising.
Biles, who starred at the recent Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France, is returning the love after Owens took time off from training camp to fly to Paris to support her. Still, Bears fans didn’t quite appreciate her presence because she was strangely wearing a jacket bearing the logo of his former team, the Green Bay Packers.
Check her out in the photo below:
Talk about failing to read the room…
Fans Absolutely Hate Simone Biles’ Jacket
Given the rivalry between the two teams, the sighting sent social media into a frenzy.
“Fix this @ChicagoBears. Get her some swag,” one user urged.
“Yeh, not cool,” someone else wrote.
“This is bad,” another comment read.
“F**k her jacket,” someone spat.
“thats not what we talking about,” another agreed.
“Love that for the Bears. She knows who owns them,” a user joked.
“As a Packers fan who misses having her at the games, I’m okay with this compromise lol,” another quipped.
“With all due respect, Simone Biles gotta throw that jacket in the trash ASAP. How did she get in with that?” someone else asked.
Of course, Simone Biles wore the threads to support her husband, as his photos are on the jacket. But she will need an updated version if she is to endear herself to fans of his new team.
As much as it’s a nod to her spouse, Bears fans won’t care for anything Packers-themed from the gymnast.

Norwegian pole vaulter Embla Matilde Njerve has been trending online during the current Olympic Games, but fans will likely be embarrassed after finding something out.
Pole vaulters have been a popular show at these games, and not just for their pole vaulting prowess. One athlete went viral after his shaft prevented him from qualifying by latching onto the bar, while another did the rounds because she celebrated by twerking.
Pole vaulting is done at the Olympics, with Mondo Duplantis of Sweden winning the men’s competition and Australian Nina Kennedy winning the women’s. Still, Njerve is the one who’s been attracting most of the attention on social media.
