Patrick Mahomes Sr., the father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II, is in more trouble with the law just five months after he was arrested for DWI in Texas.
The older Mahomes was at risk of missing the Super Bowl after he was arrested in February, though he was fortunate to make it there and see his son raise the Lombardi trophy for the second straight year.
According to TMZ Sports, Mahomes Sr. was busted for driving on an invalid license in the same state last month.
Court documents obtained by the outlet show that the 53-year-old was ticketed in Tyler, Texas, around 8:30 PM on June 29.
“Patrick Mahomes Sr. — the father of NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes II — has had yet another run-in with cops … TMZ Sports has learned he was busted in Texas last month for driving on an invalid license,” the publication reported on Friday morning.
“According to court documents we obtained … Mahomes Sr. was ticketed for the offense in Tyler, Texas at around 8:30 PM on June 29 — less than five months after he was arrested for DWI in the same city.”

Pat Mahomes Sr. Will Have Two Cases To Answer To This July
Pat Mahomes Sr. was also warned for disregarding traffic signs after he was stopped by police for a routine violation. Per the document, he will appear before a judge on or before July 31 for a hearing.
It is unknown whether his license was suspended or revoked because of his most recent DWI arrest.
TMZ noted that a Smith County Criminal District Attorney’s Office spokesperson declined to comment.
Mahomes Sr.’s DWI case is also scheduled for sometime this month.
