On Sunday, August 18, Brittany Mahomes shared a touching moment on her Instagram Stories, where her husband Patrick is seen reading a bedtime story to their two children, Sterling Skye and Patrick “Bronze” Mahomes III.

In the cozy photo, the kids are cuddled up on their dad’s lap, with Sterling holding a flashlight to help light up the book. Brittany, who is expecting their third child, mentioned that little Bronze has recently joined in on this nightly tradition, making it even more special.

“Bronze started getting very mad he didn’t get to participate in Sterling and Dad’s bedtime routine, so he now has been added and mom gets to watch this sweetness,” she wrote.

“Sterling’s job is to hold the flashlight so they can see the book.”

Earlier in the day, Brittany posted more snapshots of the family enjoying some downtime together. She shared photos from their breakfast outing, where Sterling and Bronze were caught in an adorable sibling moment.

In one of the pictures, Sterling is seen hugging Bronze, though Brittany humorously noted that the embrace “quickly turned into a choke hold,” accompanied by a laughing emoji.

With the NFL season approaching, Patrick is back on the field following the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl win earlier this year.

On Saturday, August 17, Brittany and the kids were at Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Chiefs take on the Detroit Lions in a preseason game. Sterling even brought her doll along for the day, which Brittany amusingly pointed out in her caption, “The baby was not left behind today,” adding some playful emojis.

Enjoyed summer in Europe

The Mahomes family has had an eventful summer, recently returning from a European vacation that included stops in London, Portugal, Spain, and Italy.
