Over the years, LeBron James has faced countless attempts by public figures to tear down his perfect image. Whether it’s accusations of cheating on the basketball court or on his loving wife, Savannah James, the rumors are typically baseless jabs at the NBA star. On Saturday, a celebrity called out LeBron and brought video evidence to the table.

The Los Angeles Lakers forward does his best to ignore rumors and narratives brought against him, but this case was different because it originated close to home.

The Akron, Ohio native was put on trial by rapper Doe Boy on Instagram, pitting the two Cleveland icons against one another in hilarious fashion over a game of Madden NFL 25.

James beat the Freebandz artist so badly in the video game that he had no choice left but to accuse him of cheating.

LeBron James relationship with Doe Boy

LeBron has always showed love for Doe Boy, helping to launch his career in 2019 when a video went viral of the Cleveland Cavaliers legend singing along to Doe Boy’s single, “Walk Down.”

Since then, Doe Boy’s career has taken off, even landing him a placement as a singing electrical plug in an Apple commercial in fall of 2023. The popular spot made him one of the few singers to get more airtime than Taylor Swift on NFL broadcasts last season.

James’ assistance along the way has not stopped the rapper from coming at his hometown hero, however. The accusation that LeBron was cheating against him in Madden started in January, when he was on the receiving end of a 40-point beatdown at the hands of King James. To make matters worse, he used the Cleveland Browns to do it.

If one thing is clear, it’s that LeBron James’ competitive nature does not switch off in the offseason when he steps off the basketball court. Doe Boy has a lot to thank LeBron for, but this public humiliation will not be on the list.

Dallas Cowboys Set The NFL On Fireworks By Dealing QB Dak Prescott To Longtime AFC Rival In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

The Dallas Cowboys kick off their 2024 NFL campaign in 15 days, and Jerry Jones still hasn’t extended quarterback Dak Prescott or wide receiver CeeDee Lamb as they head into their contract years.

Dak Prescott has one year remaining on the four-year, $160 million extension he signed with Dallas in the 2021 offseason, while the 25-year-old CeeDee Lamb is entering the fifth and final year of his rookie deal.

Some fans have started to wonder if Jones would be open to trading Prescott and Lamb. Of course, his preference is to keep both of them, but what if the Cowboys owner received an offer for his star quarterback that he can’t refuse?

The scenario seems crazy at first, but it’s not. What if Jones traded Prescott, punted on 2024 and set himself up to tank and draft a new franchise quarterback in Georgia’s Carson Beck, Texas’ Quinn Ewers or Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders next year?

One team that makes perfect sense for Dak Prescott is the Pittsburgh Steelers, who haven’t had an above-average quarterback play since Ben Roethlisberger’s last healthy season way-back-when in 2018.
