Jake Paul‘s star within the sport of boxing continues to rise. The 27-year-old former YouTube personality is poised to fight the legendary Mike Tyson in November, a bout that will be broadcast on Netflix from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TexasPaul has won 10 of his first 11 fights in professional boxing, with seven of those victories coming via knockout.

Caitlin Clark‘s meteoric rise to WNBA superstardom is taking place during her rookie year with the Indiana FeverClark, the all-time leading scorer in NCAA history, was named an All-Star just three months after she was selected #1 overall in the 2024 draft, and she is engineering a turnaround in Indiana with her playmaking and electric scoring. You may not think it, but Clark and Paul — both young and rising up the ranks in their respective sports — are linked in more ways than one.

Paul drops thousands on a card

Paul dropped a cool $14,000 on the image and likeness of Clark, the latest indication of the boxer’s admiration for the WNBA star. Paul has tweeted about Clark multiple times this summer, coming to her defense amid rough treatment during her first weeks in the W and hailing her historic triple-double against the New York Liberty last month.

It remains to be seen whether Clark will respond in kind — the November bout with Tyson takes place following the conclusion of the WNBA season, and maybe she’ll make a ringside appearance. But Clark’s focus for now is on guiding the Fever into the WNBA playoffs for the first time in eight years.
