ESPN is one of the biggest sports media companies, and many broadcasters and shows have been over the years. One of the more controversial broadcasters was Britt McHenry.

McHeney was one of many hosts for the sports media giant from 2014 until the company reported that it had let her go in 2017. She was known for having one of the more memorable moments during her time with the company, which caused her to be suspended for a week.

The “Pump The Brakes” podcast host discussed the situation 10 years ago in which she was filmed arguing with a towing company. McHenry claimed the video was highly doctored, stating that it was the “reason the tow truck company never gave up the full video.”

McHenry said the tow truck company was trying to sell the video. She added that she “would have easily cut them a check for $20k to $30k,” pointing out that it may have prevented the situation from going as far as it did.

The video stemmed from an incident in 2015, where the company towed her car after she decided to go out with friends over Easter Sunday in Washington, DC. In the video, the incident caused McHenry to tear a strip out of the employee.

McHenry insults the employee about her appearance, job, and education, for which the podcast host takes full blame. However, she thinks it was blown out of proportion: “I look back, and I don’t think that video is that big of a deal.”

She also decided to point fingers at cancel culture while discussing the severity of the incident. “What? I said things that are true,” she said, pointing to her comment on college degrees and appearances in the video.

While the incident may have happened nearly 10 years ago at this point, it is still possible for the former ESPN Host to be canceled again. However, there’s no guarantee that she’ll care!
