Could his days on the Chiefs be numbered?
Travis Kelce is generally viewed as one of the most important players on the Kansas City Chiefs roster and he is certainly the biggest name globally right now thanks to his relationship with Taylor Swift.
The activity by the Chiefs in the off-season has led to serious speculation about his future on the Chiefs and also in the NFL as a whole
A new tight end is being added to the Chiefs roster in the shape of Peyton Hendershot from the Dallas Cowboys, and that means that there is increased competition in Kelce’s position.
The Cowboys are receiving a 2026 conditional seventh-round pick in return for the tight end.
He caught 11 passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns in 2022, but only had four catches in 2023 for 38 yards. He is 25 years old and a lot of people think that he is a replacement for Kelce in the long run.
Fans show their concern
There won’t be an immediate decision on the matter given Kelce has made no noises about retirement and he also has a contract that runs through the 2025 season.
“Kelce gone???” one fan said.
“I think everyone knows he’s probably got a year or two left. Especially if things start getting more serious with Taylor,” another fan said.
“Travis Kelce’s replacement,” a third fan said.
“Ya he’s becoming Kelce 2.0,” a fourth fan said.
He spoke about the chance of retirement during the pre-season camp but didn’t suggest he has any immediate plans.
“I’m going to keep playing until the wheels fall off. Hopefully, that’s not anytime soon,” he said.
“It’s clear that I’m closer to the end of my career than the beginning.
“I need to ensure I’m prepared for life after football as well.”
Life after football could potentially feature a marriage with Taylor Swift if some rumors are to be believed, as long as they don’t go down the same route as Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter.
REPORT: The U.S. Army Is Asking Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson & The UFL To Give Them Back Their $6 Million Dollars

The United States Army is looking for a refund cheque from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and the UFL after giving him millions in the hopes of ramping up enrollment and getting zilch.
The former WWE star turned actor and football league owner was one of the investors who made a $15 million grab at the XFL’s rights after its second debut failed in 2020. The league came back for a third time, kicking off again in 2023. It has since merged with the USFL to become the UFL, so it’s actually had a fourth debut in 2024.
While it managed a decent 812,000 viewers during the regular season, the UFL can’t claim to be a top American league just yet, although it has attracted sponsors with deep pockets, including Uncle Sam.
The league predicted it would generate about $100 million in revenue this past season, but there’s been no update, so we can’t be sure they reached that goal. But the U.S. Army did contribute $11 million to the cause.
