A fresh rumor claiming Stephen A. Smith and First Take co-host Molly Qerim are dating has surfaced online and had fans going off as it was accompanied by a really spicy quote.
Speculation over a possible relationship between Smith and Molly, who used to be married to Jalen Rose, has been out there for over a year now. However, this week, a Twitter account going by the handle @TheNBACentel shared a new claim. The account is a parody of NBA Central, a reputable basketball news account with over 1.2 million followers, so it was able to slip under radars.
The tweet has already garnered north of half a million views and fans totally fell for the contents, which reads: “Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim are reportedly dating,” along with a quote now known to be fake.
You could see some of the reactions here:
Rose and Qerim got married in 2018 after going public with their relationship in 2016. Things appeared to be going great between the pair. But, in 2021, TMZ reported that Rose filed for divorce, which is what sparked the rumors of her sneaking around with Stephen A.
Rose confirmed the report on his Instagram account thereafter, revealing that he and Molly had already been separated for close to a year.
“After being separated for almost a year, Molly and I have officially decided to go our separate ways,” he wrote. “We both agree remaining friends and colleagues is the best course of action for our relationship moving forward. Please respect our privacy at this time.”
“I work with him [Smith], I got love for him, and that’s my brother. I got love for her, we were friends before we were married, we just didn’t work as a couple,” the former NBA star explained last year. “I just saw her today. We cool! But for me to see the speculation and for people to assume that was why, it bothered me.”
Rose was let go by ESPN late last month while Stephen A. and Molly remain with the company.

The father of Travis Kelce is piping hot mad. He took to Facebook to post a Daily Mail article spotlighting a lyric on Kanye West’s long-awaited Vultures 2 album with Ty Dolla $ign that mentions Taylor Swift.
Kanye featured a lyrical reference to Taylor Swift’s romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce,” Lil Wayne raps on the track “Lifestyle (Demo).”
“Mental illness on full display,” Ed wrote in response.
Honestly, those lyrics are quite tame to what we have heard in the past.
Taylor Swift and Kanye West have not been on the same page for years, which started with West interrupting Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
