Following an outstanding defensive performance against Caitlin Clark in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, former UConn player Nika Muhl shot to fame.
On Tuesday, she attracted many more admirers when she attended the season opener wearing her eye-popping outfit.
Just like when she was playing for the UConn Huskies, Nika Muhl put her fashion sense on display with a pregame fit that made headlines.
Muhl came walking in with some baggy-tinted blue jeans, a black sports bra, and a black blazer.
You will have to wait at least a few days if you were excitedly anticipating Muhl’s debut on Tuesday night as a rookie with the Seattle Storm.
The Storm stated that Nika Muhl was unable to play in the season opener against the Minnesota Lynx because of problems with his visa approval.
Muhl, a resident of Croatia, was able to attend the University of Connecticut as a student and play basketball there. Muhl’s student visa expired when the Storm selected her with the 14th pick in the 2024 Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) draft, making her a professional.
Muhl might make her Storm debut as early as Friday night, depending on how long it takes for her work visa to be issued.

Muhl might have to start her professional career later than others, but what she can provide on the court has already been seen.
With 686 assists in 2023, Muhl eclipsed Storm icon Sue Bird’s all-time record at Connecticut. Another record for the most assists in a single season was achieved by Muhl’s 284 in the 2022–2023 campaign, per Uconnhuskies.com.
The Storm, who needs guards to set the pace and start offense, benefits from the flexibility and poise of the two-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year.
