Stephen A. Smith has expressed some desperation over the possibility of Shannon Sharpe joining him on First Take following the former NFL tight end leaving FS1 earlier this year.

But, following a report from the New York Post’s Andrew Marchand claiming a deal has been struck between Sharpe and ESPN, Smith got on his podcast to clarify the situation.

According to Stephen. A, Marchand’s report is premature as the Hall of Famer hasn’t actually signed anything.

“Sorry Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, it’s a bit premature,” he said. “Shannon Sharpe has yet to sign on the dotted line to be a member of First Take. It has not happened yet.

“I’m still confident it will happen. I still believe it will happen. I think it needs to happen. And I have no doubt I’m going to exhaust any means I have available to me to make it happen.”

Despite the report coming out a bit too soon, Smith makes it seem like a deal between said parties is imminent.

Marchand has also claimed that Smith and Sharpe will go head-to-head debating football during First Take on Tuesdays.

It appears it’s just a matter of time.

Like most others, Michael Jordan is attempting to make the most of his summer by taking a pleasant vacation. Online footage of the NBA legend traveling to Italy with his spouse, Yvette Prieto, has just surfaced.

In one video, Jordan and Prieto can be seen dancing at a table at what seems to be a nightclub. Like in his playing days, the six-time champion smokes a cigar on his night out. The pair eventually lose themselves in the intensity of the occasion and start dancing. Michael Jordan and his spouse traveled to Italy in elegance, as anticipated. The Chicago Bulls icon is currently on a superyacht.

Several memorable moments occurred during the evening, such as the amusing present from the nightclub: a tambourine with their faces from the same night’s picture. Prieto held the unique gift up for Jordan to see, and it caused grins and laughter.

Jordan also interacted with people on their Capri excursion, shaking hands, striking pictures at their table, and dancing with them. His approachable manner and eagerness to interact with people emphasized his genuine nature even more.
