It’s not often that Taylor Swift does something that makes her fan base mad at her, but she certainly riled them up about Brittany Mahomes.

During the 2023 NFL season, Swift and Mahomes were usually inseparable at Chiefs games, as they hung out together in the same suite, hugging, cheering, and even creating dances as they watched partners Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.

That seemed to be over in 2024 when Swift appeared to go out of her way to avoid being seen at Thursday night’s Kansas City Chiefs game with her one-time game-day bestie.

Taylor Swift, showing that she didn’t seem eager to be seen in the company of the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, gave her fan base the signal to no longer cheer for Brittany Mahomes as they were already blasting her for being a supporter of Donald Trump.

The “Shake It Off’ singer hurt a lot of feelings this week when Swift attended the U.S. Open men’s final on Sunday as part of an apparent double date alongside boyfriend Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, joined the couple to watch Taylor Fritz take on Italian star Jannik Sinner in the championship match.

Swifties were pissed and did the unthinkable, as many opted to call out Taylor Swift for her actions.

Despite the backlash Mahomes has gotten for being a Trump supporter, it has clearly not stopped Taylor Swift from supporting her.

Swift has not endorsed a president in the 2024 election. In 2020, however, she endorsed Joe Biden over Donald Trump, so many are likely speculating that she is for the Democratic party.

Brittany Mahomes Being Supporter of Donald Trump Upset Taylor Swift Fans

Brittany Mahomes first hinted at her support for Trump and his running mate, JD Vance, after she appeared to “like” a post last month from the GOP candidate.

The post shared the “2024 GOP platform,” which included such bullet points as “carry out the largest deportation operation in American history” and “keep men OUT of women’s sports.”

Mahomes faced fierce backlash, but instead of cowering away, she subsequently hit back at her “haters,” with a text-only Instagram Story.

“I mean honestly,” she wrote. “To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed, and you hate to see others doing well.”

She then doubled down on Taylor Swift fans by liking a comment on one of her recent Instagram posts. The comment that Mahomes liked said, “Glad to see you aren’t backing down. We are all entitled to our own opinions and shouldn’t be bullied into submission.”

Many Trump supporters have praised Mahomes’ social media feeds while others are filling it with hate.

Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce all but confirmed that he’ll never come out of retirement after revealing a remarkable offseason body transformation.

Though he was still at the top of his game last year, Jason Kelce decided to hang up the cleats on his illustrious career that will lead to a spot in the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.

Because Kelce was playing at a high level in his age-36 season, many fans can’t help but wonder if he’d come out of retirement and return to the Eagles — especially if they’re in Super Bowl contention.

But during an interview with the Associated Press, Jason Kelce made it clear that a comeback is not happening. Kelce cited that the Eagles won’t be calling him back after his drastic offseason weight loss:

“They’re not going to call me to come back and play center at 260 pounds, and I’m moving on to the next thing and I’m excited to watch Cam (Jurgens). I really think Cam is going to be tremendous this year. He’s going to really show people how great of a player he is.

He was good for us last year at right guard and he’s going to flourish at center. And for me personally, my days of playing are just done and I do not foresee any scenario taking place other than maybe medicine inventing a way to get rid of arthritis that I would ever entertain coming back at all anymore.”
