It was a close game but no smiles at the end

It was another hard-fought game for Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky and once again they could not get the victory. It was a close game against the Las Vegas Aces but it was A’ja Wilson’s buzzer-beating layup that gave the win to the women from Sin City.

Chicago is seven games under .500 with 11 wins and 18 loses, something that is exactly the opposite for Las Vegs, as they are at 18-11. All this frustration has mounted on Reese and the Sky as they are not close to getting to a winning from and criticism has begun.

The rookie has played really well during her first season in the WNBA, yet still there is many people that believe that she should be showing more signs of improvement or that her game needs to pick up.

Mocking Angel Reese

Angel Reese had 11 points and 22 rebounds, which helped her get tie Tina Charles’ record for the most double-doubles in a season by a rookie, but she was criticized by Dave Portnoy and Jason Whitlock on social media in a bad way.

The Barstool Sports founder mocked Reese as he shared a clip of her airballing a shot from 3-point range on X. He captioned it “nothing but net” and then went to talk about an aspect of her game that may never improve.

“Angel Reese releases the ball at her shoulder, not at eye level,” the sports columnist wrote. “It’s the equivalent of Stevie Wonder and Gary Coleman combining on a shot. Leads to blocks and bricks. It won’t be an easy fix. Might be impossible,” only time will tell if this was a fair statement.

Dallas Cowboys Set The NFL On Fireworks By Dealing QB Dak Prescott To Longtime AFC Rival In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

The Dallas Cowboys kick off their 2024 NFL campaign in 15 days, and Jerry Jones still hasn’t extended quarterback Dak Prescott or wide receiver CeeDee Lamb as they head into their contract years.

Dak Prescott has one year remaining on the four-year, $160 million extension he signed with Dallas in the 2021 offseason, while the 25-year-old CeeDee Lamb is entering the fifth and final year of his rookie deal.

Some fans have started to wonder if Jones would be open to trading Prescott and Lamb. Of course, his preference is to keep both of them, but what if the Cowboys owner received an offer for his star quarterback that he can’t refuse?

The scenario seems crazy at first, but it’s not. What if Jones traded Prescott, punted on 2024 and set himself up to tank and draft a new franchise quarterback in Georgia’s Carson Beck, Texas’ Quinn Ewers or Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders next year?

One team that makes perfect sense for Dak Prescott is the Pittsburgh Steelers, who haven’t had an above-average quarterback play since Ben Roethlisberger’s last healthy season way-back-when in 2018.
