Taylor Swift is turning the spotlight towards her band, just one day after Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl insinuated her show isn’t live.
On Sunday, during her third night at London’s Wembley Stadium, Swift appeared to indirectly address the rocker’s comments after the crowd offered a prolonged standing ovation, following her performance of “Champagne Problems.” In a fan-recorded video, the singer called the applause an “unforgettable moment” for not just her but “every one of my band members, every single one of our crew.”
She continued, ”My band who’s gonna be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight, they deserve this so much. And so does every one of my fellow performers. And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it.”

Swift’s comments came one day after Grohl, a self-proclaimed fan of the singer, referenced her while performing at the London Stadium on Saturday, across the city from the pop star’s show at Wembley Stadium.
“See, now I’m feeling like Taylor Swift,” Grohl said while receiving applause in footage shared on social media. “I should be so lucky.”
He added an exaggerated, “What?,” before dramatically walking away from the microphone. He returned a moment later and continued, “Just saying. We’re a live band! You guys like raw, live rock ‘n’ roll music, right? You came to the right f—ing place.”
Fans have been quick to note that Swift has certainly endured her share of Eras Tour errors. In addition to typical wardrobe malfunctions, lyric flubs and choreography mishaps, Swift has swallowed the occasional bug and powered through rained-out performances. However, the time for mistakes is quickly approaching its end.
Swift’s Sunday night performance marked the last of three shows at Wembley Stadium. She will return to the venue in August for another five dates to end the European leg of her tour. Afterwards, the 14-time Grammy winner will return to North America for several Canadian concert dates. Her last show, which is set for Dec. 8 in Vancouver, will mark the official end of the Eras Tour, which kicked off on March 17, 2023 in Glendale, Ariz. The record-breaking tour will have spanned five continents and 152 total shows when it ends.
