Former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady took a big-time shot at New York Giants signal-caller Daniel ones during his appearance at the Fanatics Fest on Friday.

The Fanatics Fest event took place in New York and featured a Q&A between Tom Brady and Stephen A. Smith. During Smith’s interview with Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion was asked about his approach and commentary style for his upcoming NFL analyst career.

Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million deal with FOX Sports in 2022. After a year away from football, the three-time league MVP is ready to return to television, where he’ll work alongside Kevin Burkhardt and Erin Andrews.

During the interview with Smith, Tom Brady stated that he doesn’t plan to be overly critical on television. For example, he won’t scream, “That’s horrible,” if a quarterback throws a bad interception.

However, Brady managed to sneak in a little shot at Daniel Jones while vowing not to be too critical of quarterbacks.

“In some ways, I don’t necessarily know exactly what the problem was on that play. Let’s say Daniel Jones throws an interception,” Brady said as the crowd erupted into laughter. “I wasn’t even being critical of Daniel Jones. Maybe I was a little it.”

The 27-year-old Daniel Jones is entering a make-or-break year. The Giants can get out of his $160 million contract with few financial ramifications next year, so it’s up to Danny Dimes to produce and show the G-Men that he is the franchise QB they thought they had a year ago.

Plenty Of Excitement Around Tom Bady’s Move To The Booth

Every NFL analyst has their own unique style, so it’ll be interesting to see how Tom Brady separates himself from the likes of Troy Aikman, Kirk Herbstreit and Tony Romo. In-game analysts in general try not to be overly critical in general, but only time will tell if Brady can keep his word.

Brady will make his NFL analyst debut on Sept. 8 for FOX Sports’ “America’s Game of the Week” showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns.

Former NFL star Tom Brady is a vlogger now.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner recently announced his new vlog, in which he promised to offer fans a behind-the-scenes look at his life. He wasted no time teasing a comeback, sounding a warning to the league’s younger players as he let them know he could still return to the field and make life difficult for them.

“I want to make sure all those young bucks in the NFL know that if I still want to come out of retirement, they still got something to deal with,” the ex-quarterback declared.

Brady is only two years removed from throwing for 4,694 yards, 25 touchdowns, and nine interceptions, so there’s little doubt he could still perform at a high level. However, chances of a return to the league are slim as he’s set to begin working as a broadcaster for FOX very soon.

He’s also close to becoming a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.

The former QB retired last February, but the return rumors never stopped, thanks to his retirement and unretirement the previous year.

Tom Brady Had A Fun Summer

Tom Brady’s vlog has been picking up steam since he shared it late Wednesday morning, and it’s not just about him teasing a return to the NFL.

It also gives fans a look at his trip to the Olympic Games with his family while showing some of what he does in his free time. You can check the full video out below:

Of course, the main focus will be on the warning he shot to the younger players currently plying their trade in the league. But it’s still hard to see him returning at this point, considering all he has going on.
