Football fans are convinced that the NFL refs “rigged” the Kansas City Chiefs-Los Angeles Chargers ‘Sunday Night Football’ game that had several controversial calls and non-calls.
Matthew Wright booted the game-winning field goal off the left upright and in to extend the Chiefs’ record streak of one-score wins to 15. 10 of their 12 wins have been decided by a single score, though some folks will tell you that the NFL refs have something to do with that.
As you can see in the posts below, it appears as though the Chiefs’ offensive line got away with several clear-as-day holding penalties against the Chargers, to say nothing of this questionable defensive PI call on the visitors:
“I won’t say we didn’t benefit from calls but come on investigate the refs. How was this not called holding on the RT or RG?,” a fan asked.

“yeah but you rigged it by not calling any holding etc.,” a fan said to the NFL X/Twitter account.
“Anyways that Chiefs game was so rigged,” another disgruntled fan said.
“Inexcusable misses by the refs come on,” a fan wrote.
‘Cheifs always get away with holding watch the Super Bowl clips,” said a fan.
“the Refs screwed the Chargers tonight they were multiple players on the Chiefs that the refs did not call holding calls on KC o-line that should been called,” wrote another.
“I’m trying to figure out how can the RT TACKLE move before the ball is snapped on every passing play and the Ref never throws a flag on him. You every other team they get flagged for it and this happens in every KC game. That is BS too the fullest,” a fan wrote.
“TL;DR It was a standard Chiefs game,” another said.
Narrative Of NFL Refs Helping Chiefs Won’t Go Away
No matter how good of a football team you are, it takes one-in-million luck to win all the one-score contests that Kansas City has won dating back to last season. So you can’t expect the narrative of the NFL refs helping the Chiefs to end as long as they keep winning, especially in heart-pounding fashion.

Lamar Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, but he has yet to win a Super Bowl, which has left a blemish on his resume. However, we don’t often get looks at the Ravens’ signal caller while he’s off the field.
The Ravens most recently took on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football last week, but they lost by a score of 24 to 19. It was no fault of Jackson’s, though, as he put up over 230 passing yards and two passing touchdowns.
The Ravens’ next game is next week, December 15th, against the struggling New York Giants. While Baltimore hasn’t been the best team in the NFL this season, its 8-5 record certainly bodes well against the Giants’ 2-10 record.
That being said, the Ravens are evidently on their bye week, and they are getting some much-needed rest after 13 weeks of grueling competition in the AFC. Lamar Jackson seems to be enjoying himself this week after a video of him at the team’s facility went viral.
Lamar Jackson Doesn’t Want Teammates Touching His Drinks
“Don’t reach back here, you doing too much. Grab the water, grab one of these, grab everything, just don’t touch my shit,” Lamar can be heard saying to his teammates at the team’s facility. The players seemingly had a laugh over the signal caller’s demands.

Jackson can be seen reaching into the fridge, which holds water and some unidentified red and yellow drinks. One player are filming and laughing along with the others as they listen to Lamar mark his territory. It’s safe to say these drinks mean a lot to the Ravens quarterback.
If these drinks have anything to do with Jackson’s on-field success, he may want to consider sharing his stash with his teammates. Whatever the case, Jackson and the Ravens are back in action and should get an easy win in week 15 against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football.
