There is major controversy brewing on social media after what Lary Fitzgerald Sr. said about Randy Moss.
The dynamic Hall of Fame wide receiver has purposely not told social media what his health issues are as he takes a break from Sunday NFL Countdown to focus on his health after fans pointed out the yellowing of his eyes.
Unfortunately, it looks like the information that he shared privately has come out without his consent.
Fitzgerald Sr., the father of former Cardinals star Larry Jr., seemingly broke news on Tuesday when he said Randy Moss was battling cancer. Many have been guessing that it was cancer, but we weren’t told for a reason because that is a private matter.
“66th NFF Hall of Fame Ceremony here in Las Vegas just heard that Vikings HOF Randy Moss has liver cancer,” Fitzgerald Sr. wrote on X. “Let’s show the power of prayer and pull Moss through this. I love you Randy.”

“Seems like your Dad maybe have “broken the news.” A quick call may be more appropriate in this situation,” one fan said.
“This wasn’t your story to tell man. Prayers for my goat tho,” another fan added.
One fan demanded where he got the authority to announce Randy Moss’ diagnosis to the world, “Your authority to tell the world this comes from where?”
Another X user added, “I really hope you had consent to share this information.”
One fan confused Lary Fitgerald, the player, with his father when he delivered his message: “Fitz I pray for your career that Randy gave you permission to say this or you’ll never be on tv again that’s for sure 😂☠️”
“Dude you are better than this to post this,” one irate fan stated.
Randy Moss Has Yet To Speak Out About His Actual Diagnosis
NFL legend Randy Moss has been out of the spotlight lately, dealing with a mysterious health issue.
He hasn’t told anybody about his health diagnosis for a reason.
Moss has liver cancer, according to longtime sports reporter Larry Fitzgerald Sr., who shared that information without his consent.
Randy Moss has been out of the public eye and stepped away from his role as an NFL analyst on ESPN while dealing with his health.
The only thing he has asked for is prayers, and now he has to deal with something else at a critical time.

Randy Moss Is Dealing With a Personal Health Matter That He Will Not Disclose
Moss has been a staple of Sunday NFL Countdown since 2016. However, he is currently on a leave of absence while he deals with a personal health matter.
ESPN released the following statement: “Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss will step away from Sunday NFL Countdown for an extended time to focus on a personal health challenge. He briefly addressed the matter at the start of the show on Dec. 1.
“For nearly a decade, Randy has been an invaluable member of the team, consistently elevating Countdown with his insight and passion. He has ESPN’s full support, and we look forward to welcoming him back when he is ready.”
Last week, Moss revealed that he was “battling something internally” and explained that he would be wearing glasses throughout the show.
The Hall of Fame wide receiver had previously asked fans to pray for him and his family in an Instagram post. He also directed men to get checkups and bloodwork done without specifying any particular illness.
He has not discussed what his ailment is.
