Larry Fitzgerald Sr. has finally broken his silence after he sparked a major backlash by revealing Randy Moss’ diagnosis.
Fitzgerald Sr., the father of former Cardinals star Larry Jr., suddenly announced that Moss was dealing with liver canc3r, which set off Moss’ son, Thaddeus.
He quickly took to social media to blast Fitzgerald, saying: ‘This is disgusting. You have no right to try to make private matters public for the sake of engagement. I do not believe my father talks to you, so check your f—ing sources.’
Fitzgerald Sr. spoke out when he issued a statement to DailyMail.Com.
‘I have no comment other than I know Randy, love Randy, and I’m praying for Randy.’
Randy Moss initially announced that he was stepping away from his duties as an NFL analyst for ESPN in order to deal with an “internal” medical issue.
He never revealed why before Larry Fitzgerald Sr. decided to spill the news.

Moss was a six-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro who amassed 982 catches for 15,292 yards and 156 touchdowns over 14 NFL seasons.
Randy Moss Announces Canc3r Diagnosis
Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss, unfortunately, had his canc3r diagnosis revealed before he wanted it to come out, but it ultimately came out just fine.
Moss announced on his Instagram page Friday that he has been living with canc3r.
“Your boy is a canc3r survivor,” Moss said.
“I’m nursing myself back. I’m here with my family, and I can’t wait to bust some of y’all heads on ‘Call of Duty’ or ‘NBA 2K’.”
He further told his followers that he underwent surgery in Charlotte, North Carolina, and returned home Friday after being in the hospital for six days.
Randy Moss also revealed he still needs to undergo “some chemo and radiation.”

Last week, ESPN announced that Randy Moss would be taking a leave of absence to deal with “a personal health challenge.” This came after fans noticed a yellow color in Moss’ eyes on television.
Taking to Instagram live on Friday, the Pro Football Hall of Famer revealed that he has beaten canc3r. Moss stated was hospitalized for six days but just came out, offering gratitude to the doctors and the fans for their concern.
Moss happily stated, “Your boy is a canc3r survivor”, adding that he’ll still undergo chemotherapy and radiation.

Concerns about Randy Moss’ health escalated when Larry Fitzgerald Sr., the son of former Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, falsely stated on X that the Minnesota Vikings legend was battling liver canc3r.
Moss’ son, Thaddeus, denied the report from Fitzgerald Sr. and called it “disgusting.” It’s all a moot point now, as the beloved NFL analyst and former star is healthy after winning the biggest battle of his life.
