Antonio Brown couldn’t resist taking aim at Taylor Swift over her dislike for Donald Trump after she was seen embracing Brittany Mahomes at the weekend.

Taylor reunited with fellow Kansas City Chiefs WAG Brittany at the US Open final on Sunday, with the pair heading to Flushing Meadow to watch the tennis showpiece with partners Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.

As they watched Jannik Sinner’s clash with Taylor Fritz in the stands, Swift and Mahomes could be seen hugging it out to end talk of a potential feud between them after the latter recently liked one of Trump’s Instagram posts.

Brittany sparked outrage by appearing to endorse the former President last month, especially given BFF Taylor has publicly condemned Trump on many occasions in the past.

And after she linked up with her apparent Republican-supporting pal at the US Open, Brown aimed a dig at the pop megastar on X.

The controversial former NFL receiver wrote alongside a photo of Taylor and Brittany hugging each other: ‘White People for Trump’.

Brown, who won the Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021, has divided opinion since bowing out from the NFL in January 2022, with the 36-year-old often crossing the line with vile attacks on current and former sports stars.

Many had questioned whether Mahomes liking Trump’s post mapping out his proposed policies would bring her friendship with Democrat Swift crashing down.

Those fears increased when they were not sat together at the Chiefs’ opening NFL fixture last Thursday, with Taylor joining boyfriend Travis’ family in his private suite and Brittany watching the game with young daughter Sterling Skye.

However, it later emerged that the Kansas City WAGs only sat apart as they wanted different vibes on the night.

Swift was keen to watch the back-to-back Super Bowl champions in a more lively, party-style atmosphere, while Mahomes wanted a more relaxed setting.

While they initially appeared in fine spirits at the US Open, Brittany seemed to cringe when Taylor began belting out iconic 2000s rock song ‘I Believe in a Thing Called Love’ by The Darkness alongside Travis in the stands.

As the loved-up couple sang along animatedly, a number of users pointed out how awkward Brittany and Patrick looked alongside them, with the former seemingly whispering to her quarterback husband in disbelief: ‘Do you know this song?’

After Patrick responded a mortified Brittany then appeared to say: ‘Like, what?!’

While Swift’s die-hard followers and a small portion of tennis fans were in awe at her and Kelce’s singalong, others took aim at the couple for lacking ‘decorum’ and putting on a show for the cameras in New York.

One user wrote on X: ‘Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are pure cringe at the US Open, this looks completely forced and unnatural’.

Another commented: ‘No other couple in the celeb world loves the cameras this much. We’re still not buying it.’

‘If you can’t see that Taylor is being overly dramatic and making a spectacle of herself, you’re beyond help,’ said a third. ‘No one acts like a 15 yr on her first booze cruise at the US Open. It’s the US Open, not a football game in honky tonk. Maybe she’s just really trash vs class, I dunno.’

One fan replied to that post and agreed: ‘That’s what I was saying! Do you see any other couples making out in the stands?! Like you said It’s the US open not a football game have some decorum’.

‘She definitely won’t be invited to Wimbledon,’ concluded another.

While one simply put: ‘incredibly cringe’.
