Gal Gadot: A Real-Life Superhero Beyond the Screen

Throughout the past week, if you’re like most Americans, you’ve witnessed Gal Gadot effortlessly defeat some notorious villains in Wonder Woman.

If not, then you need to cease all activities IMMEDIATELY and head, don’t walk, to the nearest theater.

At this juncture, we’re accustomed to seeing actors (typically white, handsome men named Chris) morph into superheroes on screen. However, after delving deeper, I’m PRETTY certain that our girl Gal is actually a bona fide superhero in real life. Let’s examine the evidence, shall we?

First and foremost, much has been made of the fact that Gal was pregnant while filming certain scenes in Wonder Woman. Now, HOW impressive is that?!

While most actors might be accustomed to perhaps having a burrito inside them while portraying a superhero for the big screen, Gal, on the other hand, had a human being inside her.

But wait, there’s more! Can we discuss the fact that Gal wasn’t merely acting when she was kicking all those dudes’ asses? She possesses ACTUAL military experience — how many of the white Chrises can say that?

Indeed, Gal served two years in the Israeli armed forces as a combat instructor — a role she earned after undergoing a three-month intensive boot camp.

And if that isn’t impressive enough, Gal received extensive training in swordsmanship, Kung Fu kickboxing, capoeira, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu to portray Wonder Woman. GAL DID NOT COME TO PLAY. SHE CAME TO SLAY.

Just HOW prepared was she to kick some bad-guy ass? She gained 17 pounds of MUSCLE for the movie. I’m officially shook.

Her workouts were incredibly INTENSE — six hours a day, for SIX months.

Alright, if you need even more evidence that Gal is a real-life superhero, can we talk about the fact that Gal has been juggling kicking ass with other impressive activities on the side for years?

Let’s discuss the fact that before pursuing a career in entertainment, Gal was enrolled in law school? SHE’S LITERALLY ALWAYS BEEN PURSUING JUSTICE.

Gal was ALSO once Miss Israel, and then went on to compete in the Miss Universe pageant. After that, she entered the Israeli military…and the rest is history.

All hail Gal!!!
