Former top NBA draft pick Joe Smith insists that the video of him finding out that his wife, Kisha Chavis, went back into the X-rated business via OnlyFans was not a stunt.
Speaking with YouTube channel VladTV, Smith says that cynics who think that the video was a way to either promote her or himself are wrong.
‘Nah, that’s not what happened and that’s not what’s going on right now,’ Smith said.
‘It’s a real issue. The video hurt, but then also, the fact that the way I had to find out about the OnlyFans page, that’s another thing on top of that that hurts as well.’
‘I wouldn’t put my business out in the streets, I wouldn’t put nothing like this out in the streets unless it was real official, and I didn’t do this one so it’s hurting,’ he added.

Smith also admitted that he’s been staying in a hotel and hasn’t spoken to his wife since the incident – adding that he doesn’t know what will happen with his marriage.
Chavis is a former adult actress and shared footage of the moment he found out about her participation in the website.
‘That’s bulls***. That’s f***ed up Kish,’ he is heard as saying. ‘I can’t believe I am sitting here, just finding out you have got OnlyFans. After all these years.
‘Are you recording me? What the f*** are you doing? It’s disrespectful, first of all.’
Chavis is heard answering back to Smith by saying: ‘My body, my f***ing choice.
