VIDEO: Stephen A Smith Reveals Whether He’s Dating Molly Qerim During Awkward Segment On Live TV
Stephen A Smith has addressed the rumors claiming he has something going on with ‘First Take’ co-host Molly Qerim.
The two have been the subject of dating rumors for a while now, though there’s no evidence to support such a theory. But Chris “Mad Dog” Russo would joke about them getting married as they both showed up to the show wearing white on Wednesday.
“Who said ‘I do’ first between the two of you,” Russo quipped during the ESPN show.
“Who said ‘I don’t?‘” Qerim shot back.
She would go on to compliment Smith on his outfit, and he returned it before taking some time to speak about the rumors.
“No. There’s nothing going on. You understand?” he remarked. “America’s been lying about that for years.”
“You know what’s the funniest part? Is people actually believe it,” Qerim cut in.
Russo claimed that people ask him about it all the time.
Stephen A Smith Takes The Rumors As A Compliment
Stephen A Smith did have a positive spin on the rumors, explaining that they’ve come about as complimentary given they suggest that they both look good and have good taste.
“Here’s the upside to all of that: they know my taste. So therefore they know that it’s a compliment to her,” he added.
“And obviously she has great taste as well, so I guess that’s America’s way of saying we both really really look good. That’s why you can do that. Because they lie all the time, they don’t know what the hell they’re talking about.”
The rumors go back to 2021, when Qerim and her former husband Jalen Rose split up. It was even suggested that the colleagues had engaged in an affair which led to the split.
Molly has previously gone on record to deny the accusations. Now, Stephen A. has as well.

The father of Travis Kelce is piping hot mad. He took to Facebook to post a Daily Mail article spotlighting a lyric on Kanye West’s long-awaited Vultures 2 album with Ty Dolla $ign that mentions Taylor Swift.
Kanye featured a lyrical reference to Taylor Swift’s romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce,” Lil Wayne raps on the track “Lifestyle (Demo).”
“Mental illness on full display,” Ed wrote in response.
Honestly, those lyrics are quite tame to what we have heard in the past.
