On Wednesday night, Brown turned heads as he walked the red carpet with WNBA star Kysre Gondrezick. The NBA 2023-24 MVP made his look even better by showing off the Larry O’Brien award at the event.
Halle Bailey and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson presented Jaylen Brown with the ESPY for Best Championship Performance. Brown looked dapper, wearing a smart three-piece black suit, black formal shoes, and sunglasses. Meanwhile, Gondrezick looked stunning in a delicate black lace dress as she posed for photographs with the Celtics’ star.

Notably, Gondrezick and Brown were seen on the same bus during the Celtics’ NBA Championship Parade, which led to dating rumors.

Many people were taken aback when Team USA announced Derrick White as Leonard’s replacement. Brown made his frustrations clear with a cryptic tweet on his social media handle.
After Team USA announced Derrick White’s participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics, Brown quickly followed up with a tweet including three monocle emojis. In a later text, he asked Nike, “This what we are doing?”, indirectly suggesting that the popular shoe company played a role in his exclusion.

Jaylen Brown has grabbed the spotlight in the past few days for his comments on the USA men’s basketball team. After creating controversies on social media, the Celtics star refused to speak about it at a recent event.
Brown was attending the ESPYS awards with his date Kysre Gondrezick, a WNBA player. On being spotted, the swingman was halted for a quick interview. He was asked about his feelings for the USAB Team. Following Brown’s controversial take on the national team’s selection of Kawhi Leonard’s replacement, it was obvious that the question would pop up.
Brown asked the interviewer, Cam Newton, to clarify what he wanted to know, so the latter directly asked why Brown was not selected. Reluctant to answer the question, the 3-time All-Star said, “I ain’t really got no comment.” To divert the topic, he quickly added, “I’m with my beautiful date tonight.“
The USAB management formed the team for the 2024 Paris Olympics without Brown. But he saw an opportunity to join them when the Clippers star Kawhi Leonard withdrew his name. To his surprise, they chose his teammate Derrick White instead of him. That’s when Brown pointed fingers at Nike, the official partner, for bringing up their infamous rivalry against him in the decision-making.
