Dallas Cowboys superstar wide receiver posted a cryptic message on his Instagram story as he awaits a new deal from Jerry Jones.

CeeDee Lamb is entering the fifth and final year of his rookie contract, hoping to land a lucrative deal after a career year in 2023 that saw him haul in 135 passes for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns.

On his Instagram story, Lamb posted a photo of Tobey Maguire in his black Spider-Man suit (called the “Symbiote Costume”) from the 2007 blockbuster “Spider-Man 3” movie:

Interpret Lamb’s post however you wish. What we can tell you is that in “Spider-Man 3,” Spider-Man wears the “Symbiote Costume,” which makes him stronger but uncharacteristically more angry and aggressive.

So, what exactly does the Symbiote Costume and Spider-Man reference have to do with CeeDee Lamb? Only the All-Pro wideout knows.

Over the weekend, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported that the Cowboys offered CeeDee Lamb “around” $33 million annually, but the number is “not good enough.” Garafolo added that the contract structure, including the guarantees, remains an issue in the negotiations.

Lamb isn’t the only notable wide receiver whose contract situation must be resolved ahead of Week 1. Cincinnati Bengals star Ja’Marr Chase is in a holdout, and the San Francisco 49ers are working away to extend Brandon Aiyuk following his trade request.

CeeDee Lamb Has Cemented Himself As A Top-Tier NFL WR

Through his first four NFL seasons, Lamb has 395 receptions for 5,145 yards and 32 touchdowns. If it’s not Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings, you can argue that Lamb is the No. 1 receiver in football.

Dak Prescott has put together his best numbers since Lamb’s arrival in 2020, finishing second in MVP voting behind Lamar Jackson last year. So it’s rather surprising that Jones has yet to extend his star receiver, on top of Prescott (also entering a contract year) and star linebacker Micah Parsons.

An Amish woman quite expertly recreated one of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders’ dance moves, and is going viral online.

The Cowboys’ dancers have been front and center lately since they are featured in a new Netflix series.

The show has seen several cheerleaders trend online since, with the “Thunderstruck” routine taking on a new streak of popularity – so much so, an Amish woman has been doing the rounds online for pulling it off.

“What happens behind the barn stays behind the barn,” read the caption to the original TikTok video, which has since been deleted.

Fortunately, it found its way to X/Twitter before being taken down and can be seen below:
