Sean Payton officially named Bo Nix the Denver Broncos’ starting quarterback for the 2024 season. The rookie won the job over veterans Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson.

With the selection, Nix became the first Broncos rookie quarterback to start in Week 1 since John Elway in 1983, according to ESPN.

Bo Nix is happy, and Izzy Nix is “so proud” of her husband,

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Izzy, who has been married to the 24-year-old rookie since 2022, posted a graphic of Bo being named starting quarterback while posting an adorable and supportive message to the former Oregon star after Denver coach Sean Payton announced Nix as QB1.

“So proud of him,” Izzy stated.

At the bottom of her post, Izzy included the Bible verse, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established,” from Proverbs 16:3.

Bo Nix has been quite the story. He was the 12th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and although many did not expect him to be the starting quarterback so soon, he was clearly drafted to be the future.

The future is now.

Bo Nix Showcases His Talent During The Preseason

Bo Nix has been the standout performer of the three quarterbacks on the roster during preseason.

It comes as no shock as to why he was named the starter.

Nix looked good in a 34-30 win over the Indianapolis Colts, finishing 15-of-21 for 125 yards and a touchdown.

In that same game, Wilson and Stidham combined to go 14-of-20 for 154 yards and an interception.

Last week, against the Green Bay Packers, Nix showcased that dynamic skill again as he completed 8-of-9 passes for 80 yards and a touchdown in the 27-2 win.

Stidham and Wilson were a combined 9-of-17 for 94 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

Rachael Gunn, known by her stage name RayGun, continues to receive backlash amid her terrible performance at the Paris Olympics.

The fallout from Rachael Gunn’s headline-making performance at the Paris Olympics has gone to the next level as new information has come out exposing Raygun for allegedly manipulating the Olympic qualifier by setting up her own governing body.

Raygun is also being accused of denying grants to other performers while allowing her husband to coach the national team.

In response, a petition has been set up by Australians who are demanding an investigation and apology.

“Rachel Gunn, who set up her own governing body for breakdancing, has manipulated the selection process to her own advantage,” the petition states. “Despite the clear talent and qualification of other outstanding female breakdancers like G Clef and Holy Molly, they were unfairly overlooked. The NT Youlong Boys, a group of incredibly talented and underprivileged youth from the Northern Territory, were denied crucial funding by Dr. Gunn to attend the qualifiers—a decision that directly impacted their chance to showcase their skills on a national stage.”
