Matt Ryan is one of the most well-known quarterbacks to have played in the NFL. His nearly 63,000 passing yards rank seventh all-time among signal callers. Kay Adams, on the other hand, is one of the most well-known media personalities in the NFL sphere.

Adams’ NFL connection may have led to one of her most embarrassing moments on live TV, and of course, Matt Ryan was the leading cause of it after she invited the former gunslinger onto her Up & Adams live show.

Ryan retired in April, so now he is free to talk to the media about the pre-game rituals that allowed him to succeed throughout his 15-year career. Undoubtedly, his wife, Sarah Marshall, played a significant role in his success.

Ryan told Adams, “My wife used to send me the same pregame text for like 15 years,” telling the Up & Adams host that “It was very simple… …Do your best, f*ck the rest,” something she wasn’t ready to hear.

Kay Adams Talks To Live Studio Audience After Matt Ryan Comments

Adams was surprised by Ryan’s bluntness. She replied in shock, “What?” to which Ryan told her that it had become a pregame ritual over his career. “She would send it every week,” Ryan said.

The 2016 NFL MVP claimed that it helped ground him before he went on to stun NFL defenses with both the Falcons and the Colts, “you are hearing it from your wife, the person you are closest with.”

Ryan also said he would look for his family in the stands before really being in “full-game mode.” Adams was still shocked by the live F-bomb, commenting, “Does anybody have that on their bingo card today?”

After Adams’ show with Matt Ryan, we only wonder what some other NFL players may have been up to during their pre-game rituals. Who knows, maybe Matthew Stafford gets weird messages from his wife on Ram’s gamedays?

Sha’Carri Richardson made sure to remind people that she is still that girl with her performance in the women’s 4×100-meter relay.

Team USA’s women’s relay team will compete in the 4×100-meter final all because Richardson showed why she was made for the big stage.

Sha’Carri Richardson bailed the women out from a near collapse on Thursday in the Olympic 4×100 relay. She overcame a German runner in the anchor leg to help the Americans win their heat and advance to the gold-medal race.

Amid that run, Richardson could be seen staring at Rebekka Haase as she quickly passed her up on the track.
