It’s been a mixed bag for Noah Lyles this year. Having won gold in the men’s 100m sprint at the Olympics, he’s come under a lot of criticism for using COVID-19 as an excuse after placing third in the 200m.
As expected, he’s also been heavily criticized by NBA and NFL players after Team USA won the men’s basketball tournament at the games.
Lyles isn’t the only one taking heat from all over, as his girlfriend, Jamaican sprinter Junelle Bromfield, has also been dealing with trolls.
The American speedster recently took to Instagram to share a heartwarming post about his other half.
“I just want to say how incredibly proud I am of my GF and give her the flowers she deserves now,” he wrote. “She has been through so much in her life that I could never imagine fighting through. Beyond that, she is a survivor, 2x Olympian, Olympic medalists, Multi world championship medalist, and has been representing Jamaica on the world stage since she was 8 years old.
“But the most impressive thing I’ve seen recently is how she’s dealt with the pure disrespect and hatred towards her from her own country.
“This woman has been attacked by people who have never met her, heard her name before, never seen her smile, or heard what she believes in. But she keeps moving forward knowing that God will always make a way. That’s why God keeps blessing her!”
Jamaicans Did Not Appreciate Noah Lyles’ Comments
Junelle Bromfield appreciated Noah Lyles’s support and thanked him in the comments; however, Jamaicans were not happy with the post and had lots of criticism for him.

Sydney Sweeney caused a major stir online a few days ago, posting some incredibly racy pics to Instagram that have since attracted well over four million likes.
The actress shared some images of herself hanging out on a boat in a tight black and white wetsuit that showed off her backside. Three of the photos gave users a great look at said body part while another one showed her covering her face while laughing. The last one shows her chilling with friends.
“i think they call this a thirst trap,” she wrote as the caption.
