Several basketball fans confessed they had no idea who Chennedy Carter was before an incident involving the Chicago Sky point guard and Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark on Saturday.

We can’t say whether that is true or not. But Carter has been trending since then, and just about anyone with an interest in WNBA basketball right now should know who she is.

The 25-year-old Texas native has been the subject of quite a lot of discussion since body-checking Caitlin, although it appears it happened after she received an elbow to the face on a previous play.

Carter’s disturbing history in the WNBA has since been brought to light.

The former Texas A&M star was selected as the No. 4 overall pick by the Atlanta Dream in 2020. According to a report from The Next Hoops, she was suspended by the team midway through the 2021 campaign because she “stayed in the locker room for the second half of the team’s game against the Aces.”

The report added, “Following the game, Carter approached [teammate Courtney] Williams about playing time and suggested she wanted to fight her teammate.”

She was traded to the Los Angeles Sparks shortly after but was released after just 24 games after getting “benched for poor conduct during the season.”

Carter played in Turkey during the 2023 WNBA season before joining the Sky this February.

Chennedy Carter Has Doubled Down

Chennedy Carter has shown zero remorse since Saturday’s incident, not that she has to, especially if she feels she got hit first.

She refused to speak to reporters about Caitlin or the foul after the contest and slammed the rookie’s game in a social media post.

Meanwhile, the WNBA has upgraded the hit from a common foul to a flagrant 1, though she wasn’t fined or suspended.

Female FSU Fan Is Trying To Expose Kirk Herbstreit For Cheating On His Wife Using Her College GameDay Sign

It doesn’t appear that Kirk Herbstreit will ever be forgiven by Florida State football fans.

An offseason of zero activity was not enough to cool them off as they wasted no time letting him know how they felt about him during ‘College GameDay’ this Saturday.

FSU and Georgia Tech are in Dublin, Ireland, for the first college football game of the season, and thousands of fans made the trip. One Seminoles fan is being lauded for perhaps having the best sign to make it to the crowd as she suggested that Herbstreit cheated on his wife by doing something carnal to the program.

Check it out below:

The popular sportscaster wasn’t allowed a moment’s peace on the show this Saturday as he was booed every time he opened his mouth. Chants of “F*** Kirk Herbstreit” also rang out on occasion.

Why Do FSU Fans Hate Kirk Herbstreit?

There is no love for Herbie at Florida State following what he had to say about their College Football Prospects last season. The ESPN regular was among those who claimed that the Seminoles didn’t belong in the playoffs despite their excellent, unbeaten season.

A 13-0 record and an ACC Championship weren’t enough to convince Kirk Herbstreit that the Seminoles were deserving of a shot in the CFP. And things went from bad to worse after quarterback Jordan Travis’ campaign was prematurely cut short by a devastating leg injury.

Herbstreit refused to back down from his take and even argued with FSU fans on social media, though he eventually offered an olive branch by asking for fans to give the program its flowers for their amazing season.

Clearly, no one cared for it.
