Many people were confused when ESPN announced they would let go of NFL and college football analyst Robert Griffin lll. The Athletic credits the firing to “financial decisions” and effectively ends Griffin’s tenure at the network since 2021.

However, it seems that Griffin and his wife, Grete Griffin, are looking at the situation positively. RGlll went to X to post a clip of the movie “Friday” with the quote, “How you gonna get fired on your day off?” Grete then replied to the post, “Onto bigger and better things.”

Despite the negative situation, it’s clear that the Griffin family is not worried about the future, and neither are fans of the couple.

“I’m following you all to wherever he lands. Love his tweets on here in your IG pages. You are good people,” said one commenter.

“100%. As a Cowboys fan I love RG3….which is saying something lol. Gods rejections are Gods protection. No doubt that something better than you both can imagine will happen next,” said another.

“Sometimes we take the things (people) we like for granted. RG3 is made for TV and social media. Very likable, shares his family in the coolest way possible and just a great person. Yes, bigger and better it will be, can’t wait to see. Ok, back to my vacation,” added a third.

There’s no doubt that Griffin will land with a new network in no time.

When something so major like this happens in someone’s life, there’s an expectation they could take time and reevaluate where they’re at.

That couldn’t be less true for Griffin. Even hours after news broke of his firing, he was already on X, sharing opinions on NFL news.

This is the kind of dedication that has earned him almost three million followers across X and Instagram.

Sydney Sweeney caused a major stir online a few days ago, posting some incredibly racy pics to Instagram that have since attracted well over four million likes.

The actress shared some images of herself hanging out on a boat in a tight black and white wetsuit that showed off her backside. Three of the photos gave users a great look at said body part while another one showed her covering her face while laughing. The last one shows her chilling with friends.
